The amazing GMUNK is at it again. Reprising his GFX role for Joseph Kosinski on his latest movie Oblivion. The interfaces are astounding. So beautiful one can hardly imagine what a movie like this would feel like without this digital texture throughout. Gonna have to go check this out on the big screen just for the visuals.

Great social experiment. Captured beautifully.
Google Street View Hyperlapse | Labs | Teehan+Lax
The idea for this project came from one of our motion designers, Jonas, as part of his Labs experiment. He wanted to explore a tool that could help him create hyper-lapse videos with the assistance of available data sets and emerging technology. We built the tool – he built a video with it. The results are pretty stunning.
The Heart & The Sea
‘The Heart & The Sea’ is the third release from independent Australian filmmaker Nathan Oldfield, the creator of the highly regarded left of centre surf films ‘Lines From a Poem’ and ‘Seaworthy’.
Over three years in the making, ‘The Heart & The Sea’ explores the joy that lies at the very centre of a surfing life: family, friends & a shared intimacy with the sea. Filmed in Australia, New Zealand, France & Spain, this is a gently refreshing & quietly enchanting contribution to the surf film genre.

New Andy Martin website and showreel…
After chipping away at it for what seems like and age, I’ve finally relaunched my website. It has a shiny new look, lots of animation not featured on my site before, brand new illustrations and a brand spanking new showreel.
Also, the showreel features a remix I did of ‘A Spoonful of Sugar’ that incorporates some drill & bass beats… surely it’s worth a watch just to hear that!?
Take a look around here: http://www.andymartin.info
I hope you like it,
Thanks,
Andy
