The amazing temporary pieces that Gregory Euclide “Laid down & Wiped Slowly Away” did on white boards are slowing being erased as the show progresses. It looks amazing at every progressive decline. Be sure and get to the David B Smith gallery in Denver if you want to catch a glimpse of this beauty before it’s completely gone. The rest of the show is equally beautiful and worthy of hours of marveling.
I’m Proud to announce that the “EleMental CommUnion” show I am in, opens this Friday. I have 6 new pieces in this show and am showing along side of three others great artists.. Mark Galloway, Maria Calderon, and Ashley Lande. Opening Friday September 7th at Wind Horse gallery in Kansas City Missouri.
A momentary rise of reason constitutes a deliberated exercise in sanity and the absurd in the realm of the surreal. By means of basic, sparse compositions and frugal coloring, the artworks depict every-day stereotypes in which the strange detail contaminates the apparent reality with the absurd. The logic commands a reading from right to left, while the suggested substance of the story is no longer the foundation of the whole, but merely a guilty last brush- stroke, the author’s unconditioned reflex.
